The next series in A-Team Raceway 2017 is off-road racing. For this series, we will use the "mud pit" on the hill as our track. We will calculate speed by using the r = d/t formula. Distance will be measured from the top of the "mud pit" to the back wheels of the vehicle once it stops. All cars in this series must have moving wheels. You will not be allowed to push the car.
Round 1 will be Plastic Bottle Cars. You will have the following materials:
Round 2 will be Nature/Garbage Cars. You will be responsible for gathering nature and recycled materials to construct your vehicle.
Round 1 will be Plastic Bottle Cars. You will have the following materials:
- Plastic Bottle (must use this in your design)
- Straws
- Skewers
- Balloons
- CDs
- Cardboard
- Tape
- Bottle Caps
- Hot Glue
Round 2 will be Nature/Garbage Cars. You will be responsible for gathering nature and recycled materials to construct your vehicle.
- All materials must be approved by teachers
- You must include at least 2 nature items in your design
- You may use tape or hot glue as adhesive
